Ballast Water Management System

On the vast ocean, the voyage of ocean-going ships cannot do without the necessary method of loading ballast water. However, this process hides many challenges and risks.

Firstly, when loading ballast water, the organisms in the seawater are easily brought into the ballast tank and discharged to the destination sea area, which may trigger the invasion of harmful aquatic organisms and pathogens, causing serious damage to the marine ecosystem. Secondly, when ships travel between different sea areas, the unrestricted discharge of their ballast water will bring incalculable ecological, economic and public health impacts to the receiving environment. Moreover, the invasion of alien organisms is even listed as one of the four major hazards to the ocean, and its severity is self-evident.

In order to effectively deal with these problems, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) formulated the International Convention for the Control and Management of Ships' Ballast Water and Sediments in 2004, and since it came into effect in 2009, both new ships and existing ships are required to install ballast water treatment systems.

And we, as a professional supplier of ballast water management systems, always uphold a high degree of professionalism and sense of responsibility. Our team has conducted in-depth research on ballast water issues, closely following international conventions and rules, and has developed advanced ballast water management systems, including but not limited to treatment systems with technologies such as electro-chlorination, ultraviolet radiation, nitrogen filling and oxygen exhaustion as the core. Our system can accurately treat ballast water and strictly control the number of harmful aquatic organisms and pathogens in it to ensure compliance with the convention requirements. With our superb technology and reliable quality, we contribute to the safe navigation of ships and the protection of the marine environment, so that you have no worries when using our products and help you move forward steadily in the marine industry.

In addition, our products have received the recognition of multiple classification societies, including but not limited to ABS, USCG, BV, RMRS, CCS, NK, DNV, etc.
