Marine Fire Pump
Marine fire pump is installed in the ship, offshore working platform and other water working environment of the unpowered fire pump, mainly used to transport water or foam solution and other liquid fire extinguishing agent, most pumps can meet, mainly depends on the use of the ship scene, according to the flow, head and other aspects of selection.
Overview
Working process
Suction stage:there is a low pressure area inside the pump body, and the medium to be transported is sucked into the pump body from the source through the effect of negative pressure. This process is mainly caused by the rotation of the impeller of the pump, creating a low pressure area that allows the liquid to be sucked into the pump body.
Closing stage: At the end of the suction stage, the inlet and outlet inside the pump body are closed. The medium is completely transferred with the pump assembly and there is no reverse flow.
Push stage: After the closed stage, with the rotation of the pump assembly, the medium is pushed to the outlet of the pump body. The impeller of the pump drives the medium to rotate, increasing the kinetic energy of the liquid, so that it has enough pressure to smoothly pass through the outlet.
Discharge stage: When the medium is pushed to the outlet of the pump body, a high-pressure area is generated inside the pump body. The high pressure zone enables the medium to flow out of the outlet and then be transported to the target position to complete the entire pump working process.
Application scenario
Special pump used for water environment such as offshore working platform, for water transmission or fire extinguishing medium.
