Marine Fire Damper

Marine fire damper is a device that utilizes wind power to expel smoke, flame and hot gas from the inside of the ship's cabin. Its working principle is to utilize the airflow generated when the ship is traveling at a high speed to pass through the channel of the fireproof damper, so as to discharge the smoke, flame and hot gas inside the cabin and prevent the fire from spreading.

The parameters needed for a marine fire dampers are: size, mode of operation, fire class.

If it is a rectangular fire dampers need length and width dimensions, round fire dampers need diameter.

The operation mode of marine fire dampers are: manual, electric and pneumatic.

Common fire class of marine fire dampers are: A30, A60.
