Marine A15 Fire Damper

Marine A15 Fire Damper

The A-level of marine fire dampers represents their high fire resistance performance, with main features and standards including the use of steel or other high-temperature resistant materials to ensure good fire resistance. Marine fire dampers should have good sealing performance, effectively isolate fires and smoke, have automatic closing and locking functions, and waterproof performance to prevent water flow from entering the cabin. All these characteristics and standards together ensure the important role of marine fire dampers in ship safety.

Overview

working principle:

1. Fire detection: Fire dampers are equipped with built-in fire detectors, commonly including smoke detectors, temperature detectors, etc. Once a fire signal is detected, the fire damper will enter the working state

2. Close the ventilation path: Once the fire damper receives a fire signal, it will automatically close the ventilation path to prevent the spread of fire. This is achieved by controlling the valve closure through an actuator.

3. Cut off the gas source: Some fire dampers also distinguish between different types of gases, and when a fire is detected, they will also cut off the gas supply pipeline to further prevent the spread of the fire.

4. Issue an alarm: When the fire damper is working, it will simultaneously trigger the alarm, informing people of a fire through sound and light signals.

5.The working principle of a fire damper is to prevent the spread of fire by combining multiple steps such as fire detection, ventilation road control, gas source cut-off, and alarm. This type of equipment plays a crucial role in the fire protection system of buildings, helping to protect people's lives and property safety.
