Electric Multi Page Sealed Fire Damper
Electric Multi Page Sealed Fire Damper is installed the central conditioning duct system. Its working principle is control the temperature of fusible alloy. The damper will be closed by the effect of gravity and spring. When it is fire, flame go into the ducts with the high temperature make the fusible alloy in the valve melting or make the memory alloy produces deformation to close the valve automatically. This series of damper is widely used in the places of air ducts with cross fire zone.
Overview
Installation method
1. Fire dampers can be interlocked with ventilation fans and smoke exhaust fans.
2. The operating mechanism of the valve should have a clear space of no less than 20 centimeters on one side to facilitate future maintenance.
3. Before installing the valve, it is necessary to check whether the operating mechanism of the valve is intact and whether the action is flexible and effective.
4. Fire dampers should be installed in the air duct section adjacent to the wall or floor slab. The distance between the fire dampers on both sides of the fire partition wall and the wall surface should not be greater than 20 centimeters. Non combustible materials should be used for pipelines and their insulation materials within a range of 2 meters on each side of the fire damper.
5. Fire dampers should be equipped with separate supports and hangers to prevent pipeline deformation from affecting their performance in the event of a fire.
6. The fuse of the fire damper should be installed on the side facing the higher risk of fire.
