What Is Blade Cut Hydrostatic Release Unit?
The main type of blade cut HRU is HAMMAR H20R, it enters the water 1.5-4m, the blade is released when the diaphragm is pressed by water pressure, thus cutting the rope.
Overview
Principle: In a normal state, all parts inside the device are in a balanced state, with the fixed pin connected to the compression diaphragm. When the device enters the water, the water pressure causes the compression diaphragm to be compressed and move upward, which in turn causes the fixed pin to also move upward. This movement releases the accumulator spring, causing the blade to spring out and cut the rope, thereby achieving the release effect.
Correct connection: as shown in the following figure. When manual release is required, just open the slip hook and throw the liferaft to the water. Its average service life is 3 years.
