D Type Universal Joint
Universal joint is a connector that connects two levers. The joint consists of a pair of ordinary hinges with a 90° orientation relative to each other, allowing the levers to turn in any direction. It is still widely used in the small shaft transmission system of ships.

Maintenance Points: Regularly check the sealing performance to avoid seawater corrosion; for stainless steel models, pay attention to the wear of key/pin connections.
