Marine Floor
Marine floors are flooring materials specially designed and used for the interior of ships, and they need to meet specific environmental requirements, such as waterproof, non-slip, wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant and other characteristics.
There are various types of marine flooring, including floating flooring, solid wood flooring, teak flooring, PVC rolled flooring, rubber flooring, etc. The selection of these flooring materials depends on the environment in which the ship is used, the type of ship and the purpose of the ship.
The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has formulated a series of regulations on ship safety and environmental protection, including the IMO SOLAS Convention, which stipulates that ships must use flooring materials that comply with the specified characteristics of fire prevention, anti-skid and corrosion prevention. In addition, all countries have formulated relevant standards and regulations to standardize the production and use of ship deck flooring.
