What is the marine bulkhead gearing
Marine bulkhead gearing, also called bulkhead sealing apparatus, it is suitable for transmission of power between airtight cabins of small and medium vessels. This device meets the requirements of ships and is suitable for pump shafts of ships transporting crude oil, petroleum, and chemical liquids, as well as other shaft systems passing through watertight bulkheads in engine rooms.
Overview
Marine bulkhead gearing is suitable for transmission of power between airtight cabins of small and medium vessels. The bulkhead sealing device is mainly composed of two sets of packing boxes and a combination of end-face sealing types. Through the effective mechanical sequence combination between the packing box, shell, sealing ring, O-ring, and packing box, it can be widely used on various small and medium-sized ships in rivers and oceans. After being installed on the ship's main shaft and fixed on the cabin wall, it can be used as a seal for the ship's shaft system to penetrate between compartments. Especially in special cases, through the O-ring and Huff sealing effect, automatic compensation sealing between compartments can be implemented after a certain degree of water ingress in any compartment.
