What Is The Difference Between Ratchet Binder And Lever Binder?
There are two basic chain binders (load binders), ratchet binders and lever binders. The method of tightening the binder is what differentiates the ratchet binders and lever binders.

Features:

Easier and more precise tensioning, can make adjustments in small increments.

Lever type load binder
Operation:
A lever binder consists of a lever with tension hooks on each end, using the lever's mechanical advantage to increase the force applied to a tie-down, and it locks after a 180-degree rotation to secure the load.
Adavantage:
Simplicity of design, easy installation.
Easier and faster to unload your cargo.
Disadvantage:
Have to use some serious strength to tension the chain to secure the load.
Cannot make small, precise tension adjustments compared to ratchet binders.
The potential for the lever to kick back when releasing tension, which can cause injury.
