What is a Marine Air Vent?

Marine air vents have short round nozzles in a spherical housing. By rotating the spherical shell of the air outlet, the position of the nozzle can be changed up, down, left and right, so as to change the direction of airflow easily. At the same time, it can also be used to adjust the opening degree of the valve plate at the nozzle by rotating the small knob on the air vent, so as to achieve the purpose of adjusting the volume of air supply. This kind of air supply outlet is mostly used in hot workshop for post air supply, which can be installed separately at the end of air duct, and also can be set up intensively under the static pressure box as the lower vent, which is suitable for places with not very strict noise control.

Overview

Application:

1) According to the characteristics of the project, the type of airflow organization required, the adjustment performance and the way of air supply, etc., select the appropriate type of air vent.

2) According to the required air volume [air supply or exhaust (return)], in the neck of the air vent (or air inlet and outlet section) within the range of allowable wind speed, to determine the size of the required air vent.

3) Calibrate the main technical properties of the selected air vent, such as range, pressure loss, noise indicators, and the wind speed and temperature difference in the working area.

4) Determine the arrangement and installation of the selected air vent and its connection with the air duct.

Round Air Vent

Smaller shrink angle (6.5°) in front of the outlet band, shrink tube length 1.6d

It's a round jet, can't adjust the airflow

Spherical Rotary Air Vent

A short round spray nozzle is attached to the spherical shell. By rotating the spherical shell of the air vent, the nozzle can be moved up, down, left and right, thus changing the direction of airflow, and the opening degree of the nozzle valve plate can be adjusted

Circular jets with adjustable airflow direction and volume
