Type B Marine Mushroom Vent Head

Type B Marine Mushroom Vent Head consists of a mushroom shaped cowling mounted on top of a vertical pipe. Designed to protect the vent from water ingress, the fairing also allows air to move freely in and out of the vent.

Overview

Type B Marine Mushroom Vent Head system commonly used on ships and offshore platforms. They are designed to supply ventilation for closed spaces below decks, such as engine rooms, machinery rooms and other compartments.
