Type A Composite Rock Wool Panel
Type A Composite Rock Wool Panel is a new type of ship cabin interior material, which, together with calcium silicate panels and ultrafine fiberglass, has become the main material for ship interiors at present.
Type A Composite Rock Wool Panel is made of galvanized thin steel sheet, PVC plastic decorative film, adhesive and rock wool. Specifically, the composite rock wool panel is a kind of in the middle of two layers of 0.7 mm thick galvanized steel panels, lined with a certain thickness of rock wool, the weight of each square of composite rock wool panel is 19 kg. the connection form between the panels is the use of a-type board link form.
Overview
The Type A Composite Rock Wool Panel is a sandwich panel specifically designed for marine interior applications such as cabin partitions and linings. It is constructed with a core of non-combustible rock wool insulation, bonded between two layers of 0.7mm thick galvanized steel sheets. This structure provides a rigid, durable, and finished panel that integrates thermal insulation, acoustic absorption, and fire protection in one component.
Structure:
Composite rock wool panel system structure mainly consists of: bonding layer, insulation layer, plastering layer, finishing layer and accessories.
The bonding layer is attributed to the building, is between the bottom layer and the surface layer, the primary use of cementitious materials to the upper and lower layers of the two layers firmly bonded together, and its filler is mainly derived from inorganic materials.
Insulation layer to avoid and reduce the turbine heat loss to the environment, in the turbine and pipeline and other external laying of insulation material layer, the main filler for the rock wool fibers, as well as a certain amount of organic matter, moisture, and adhesives.
Decorative layer should be selected with decorative mortar, embellishment mortar and other lightweight functional coatings or water-based exterior coatings with outstanding permeability, so that the composite rock wool board to maintain its lightweight properties, but also increase its aesthetic degree.
Accessories are mainly used in various types of paint, on the one hand, to increase the color of the surface of the composite rock wool board, so that it can be applied to any environment and paint can be to a certain extent to its role in fire retardant and thermal insulation.
Marine Interior Applications
Cabin Bulkheads & Partitions: For creating crew and passenger cabins.
Corridor & Public Space Linings: For walls and ceilings in passageways, mess rooms, and offices.
Galley & Pantry Areas: Where hygiene and durability are key.
Equipment Enclosures: To provide thermal and acoustic shielding for machinery.
