Steel flexible pipe joint, also known as clamp type flexible coupling, is a kind of flexible pipe connector, which is mainly used in pipeline system, allowing the pipeline to move axially, laterally or angularly within a certain range, in order to adapt to the displacement, vibration and foundation settlement of the pipeline system. Its material is mainly made of carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron and other materials. It is widely used in mines, power plants, sewage treatment and other fields to prevent pipe rupture due to vibration or foundation settlement.

Composition:

Flexible pipe clamp: used to fix the pipe to ensure the stability and connection strength of the pipe.

Coupling pipe end: connects the two ends of the pipe to realize the connectivity between the pipes.

Seal: Provides sealing function to prevent liquid or gas leakage.

Fasteners: Includes bolts and nuts to secure the pipe clamps and seals to ensure a tight connection.

Installation method:

Welding: Weld the end tubes to both ends of the pipeline first.

Installation of rubber ring and bolts: Install the sealing ring in the middle of the two end pipes, adjust the position and then fix the outer card with bolts.

Tighten the bolts: tighten the bolts by diagonal method at the same time and strike the outer card with a hammer to make the sealing ring evenly wrapped.
