Stainless Steel Cap
Stainless steel pipe cap is a connecting device used for fluid control and sealing of pipelines. It is usually installed at the end of the pipe or in connection with other pipes to play the role of closing and sealing. Compared with other materials, stainless steel pipe cap has the advantages of high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, good sealing, etc. It is widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, food and other industries.
Overview
Introduction:
Commonly used domestic standards for stainless steel pipe caps include GB/T 14383-2008 Reducer Pipe Fittings and GB/T 14626-2008 Pipe Caps. Among them, GB/T 14383-2008 standard applies to the connection of reducer pipe, GB/T 14626-2008 standard applies to the design and manufacture of various types of pipe caps.
Commonly used international standards for stainless steel pipe caps include ANSI B16.9, DIN2605, JIS B2313 and so on. Among them, ANSI B16.9 standard applies to the connection of pipes and fittings, DIN2605 standard applies to the market of European countries, and JIS B2313 standard mainly applies to the market of Japan.
Stainless steel pipe caps are generally made of stainless steel materials such as 304, 316L and other stainless steel materials, in accordance with the national standard GB/T 20878-2007 "Stainless steel and its alloys chemical composition and mechanical properties of the provisions of the".
