SM/SMB Water Lubrication Stern Shaft Sealing Apparatus is suitable for various ships and vessels whose working medium is water. Water lubrication is mainly used for sea ships and ships sailing in clean water. 

When the axis vibration≤1mm, the SM type can be used. 

When the axis vibration≤±3mm and the speed is high, the SMB can be used.

Instead of using oil, the SM/SMB system uses seawater or freshwater to lubricate the propeller shaft. This reduces environmental risks and eliminates the need for oil reservoirs and circulation systems.
