Different salvage methods can be used depending on the situation:

1. For sunken ships or objects in shallow waters of rivers, lakes, or near-coastal areas, the buoyancy restoration method can be applied.

2. For sunken ships or objects located in deep waters of the open sea or ocean, the floating dock salvage method can be employed.

3. For smaller ponds, the cofferdam salvage method is suitable.

4. For sunken ships or objects that cannot be salvaged as a whole, the underwater dismantling salvage method can be used.

5. If the sunken ship holds no salvage value, such as a cement transport vessel obstructing a waterway, it may be destroyed with explosives in the water to clear the passage.
