Pressure Relief Damper
Pressure Relief Damper is a safety device for controlling the airflow pressure, which is mainly used in fan systems to automatically open to reduce the airflow pressure when the airflow pressure in the fan ducts is too high in order to avoid the failure of the ducts or the fan system and to protect the safety of the workers. Therefore, pressure relief damper is an indispensable part of the fan system.
Overview
Pressure Relief Damper is mainly composed of valve body, spring, valve plate, adjusting nut and other parts, its working principle is as follows:
1. when the pressure in the pipeline exceeds the set value, the spring is moved downward by the pressure and pushes the valve piece to open, so that the gas flow in the pipeline flows to the outside through the pressure relief damper, thus reducing the pressure of the gas in the pipeline.
2. When the pressure of the gas in the pipeline drops below the set value, the spring springs back and the valve closes, keeping the pressure of the gas in the pipeline within the set value.
It can be seen that the pressure relief damper can realize the function of automatically controlling the gas pressure through the synergistic effect of the spring and the valve plate, so as to ensure the normal operation and safety of the fan system, and to avoid the system failure and safety accidents caused by the excessive gas pressure.
