Pressure regulation performance of marine generator sets
The voltage regulation performance of a marine generator set refers to its ability to maintain stable output voltage under various load conditions. Good voltage regulation performance is crucial for ensuring the reliable operation of ship power systems, as most critical equipment on ships rely on stable power sources.
Overview
Voltage regulation performance of DC generator sets
Under the corresponding steady-state speed regulation characteristics, when the compound excitation generator set is operating at rated speed and stable hot state, starting from 20% of the rated load, the voltage deviation from the rated value shall be less than 1% of the rated voltage, and the full load voltage deviation from the rated value shall be less than 2.5% of the rated voltage. The average curve of the voltage regulation curve when the load rises and falls between 20% of the rated load and full load shall not deviate from the rated voltage by more than 4%.
Voltage regulation performance of AC generator sets
(1) Steady state voltage adjustment rate
The steady-state voltage adjustment rate of the AC generator set should not exceed ± 2.5%; Steady state voltage adjustment of emergency generator sets
The rate is allowed to not exceed ± 3%.
(2) Transient voltage change rate and stability time
Under no-load conditions, the AC generator set suddenly applies or unloads 60% of the rated current, with a power factor of 0.4 (lagging)
When subjected to symmetrical loads below and below, the rate of change of transient voltage shall not exceed -15% at the lowest and ± 20% at the highest; The time for the voltage to recover to a deviation of ± 3% from the rated value within the rated voltage shall not exceed 1.5 seconds.
(3) The setting range of the no-load voltage of the unit is 95% to 105% of the rated voltage.
(4) The voltage fluctuation rate of the unit should not exceed ± 1% under any symmetrical load within the rated load range of 0-100%.
The voltage regulation performance of marine generator sets is crucial for the stable and safe operation of the ship's power system. By optimizing voltage regulation equipment, improving generator design, managing loads reasonably, and improving operating environment, the voltage regulation performance of generator sets can be significantly improved, ensuring the normal operation of various electrical equipment on ships and the overall safety of ships. Regular measurement and evaluation also help to identify problems in a timely manner and make improvements, thereby maintaining the optimal operating state of the generator set.
