Pressure Gauge YC Type
The YC Type Pressure Gauge is a general-purpose, Bourdon tube pressure measuring instrument. The "YC" designation is a model code used by many manufacturers, particularly in Asia and Europe, to describe a standard, cost-effective pressure gauge with a radial, all-in-one connection.
Its key defining feature is that the process connection (the thread) and the case are a single, integrated unit, and the connection point is at the back of the case (radial). This makes it compact and straightforward to install directly into a tap or fitting on a pipe or vessel.
Overview
Applications
YC Type Gauges are the workhorses of industry and are found in countless applications, including:
• Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems: On air compressors, hydraulic power packs, and pneumatic control panels.
• Pumps and Compressors: To monitor discharge pressure.
• Industrial Machinery: Plastic molding machines, machine tools, and packaging equipment.
• Water Treatment Plants: For filter pressure, pump pressure, and general system monitoring.
• Chemical and Process Industries: For non-critical processes where the wetted parts (Bourdon tube) are compatible with the medium.
• HVAC Systems: On chillers, boilers, and water lines.
