NAVTEX Receiver
NAVTEX receiver is the primary mean for transmitting coastal urgent marine safety information to ships including navigational, meteorological or other urgent information. NAVTEX provides navigators with a forecast for wind, sea, precipitations, visibility and other warnings and forecasts that can affect safety navigation. The information is received by NAVTEX in automatic mode and printed directly by telex. The device is an important part of GMDSS.
