Marine Vertical Storm Valve
Marine Vertical storm valves are mainly used in marine sanitation systems with outlets from the ship's side. The valve allows water to flow over the side of the ship while preventing seawater from entering the system in rough seas.
Overview
Design Purpose
These valves are equipped with the capability to prevent seawater intrusion into the system, particularly in challenging sea conditions. Referred to as "scupper valves" or "discharge check" valves, they are commonly installed on overboard discharge lines to effectively remove sanitary wastes or wastewater. Their primary function is to maintain the integrity of the system and ensure proper disposal of waste materials, even in rough sea conditions.
