Marine Lubrication Pump
Lubrication pump refers to the pump used in the Marine engine lubrication system, the main function is to transport lubricating oil to the various lubrication points of the engine to ensure the normal lubrication friction between the moving parts of the engine. Marine lubrication pump usually adopts multi-column combination structure, which can meet the high flow and high pressure requirements of Marine engine. Because the common lubricating oil transmission system, the flow can reach 300m³/H, the viscosity is large, so the gear pump is often selected, in order to prevent the blockage of the discharge pipe resulting in pump damage, must be equipped with a safety valve.
Overview
Working process
When the meshing gear rotates in the pump body, the teeth continue to enter and exit the meshing. In the suction chamber, the gear teeth gradually withdraw from the meshing state, so that the volume of the suction chamber gradually increases, the pressure decreases, and the liquid enters the suction chamber under the action of the liquid surface pressure, and enters the discharge chamber with the gear teeth. In the discharge chamber, the gear teeth gradually enter the meshing state again, the gear teeth are gradually occupied by the gear teeth, the volume of the discharge chamber is reduced, the liquid pressure in the discharge chamber is increased, so the liquid is discharged from the discharge port of the pump. The gears continue to rotate, and the above process continues to form a continuous oil transfer process.
Application scenario
It is used for the transmission of high-viscosity media such as hydraulic transmission system and lubricating oil system of Marine equipment.
