Marine Fuel Pump
Marine fuel pump refers to the fuel pump specially used on the ship, its main function is to provide a stable fuel supply for the ship's diesel engine to ensure the normal operation and efficient performance of the engine. Marine fuel pumps are usually installed in a ship's fuel system and are responsible for transporting fuel from the tank to the diesel engine, ensuring that the engine gets enough fuel to do its job
Overview
Working process
the fuel pump is divided into centrifugal fuel pump and gear fuel pump.
Centrifugal fuel pump: the motor is connected to the pump body through bearings and mechanical seals, and the impeller is rotated at high speed to drive the discharge of fluid, so that the fuel produces pressure in the pump body, and finally the fuel is sent to the engine for combustion.
Gear fuel pump: Through the rotation of the gear, continuous mesh, the fuel is inhaled and discharged, to provide a stable fuel input to the engine.
Application scenario
Marine power plant: Marine fuel pump plays a vital role in the Marine power plant. They are responsible for transferring fuel from the tank to the engine, ensuring the stable operation of the engine. The fuel pump can transport the fuel from the storage tank to the fuel settling tank, and then send the clean oil to the daily fuel tank, and finally supply the fuel nozzle of the engine.
Different types of fuel pumps: There are many types of Marine fuel pumps, including plunger pumps, rotor pumps and gear pumps. The types and characteristics of these pumps vary, but the common goal is to ensure a stable supply of fuel.
