Marine Fireproof Panel
Marine fireproof panels, such as marine calcium silicate panels, are non-combustible panels with fireproof insulation and certain strength properties, and are indispensable materials in marine engineering. They are effective in stopping the spread of flames, maintaining structural integrity and providing additional safety for crew and passengers. In naval applications, composite wall panels have a lighter weight compared to traditional metal wall panels, which reduces hull loads and improves carrying capacity and fuel efficiency.
Overview
Features
Composite panels have a lighter weight, which reduces hull loads and improves carrying capacity and fuel efficiency. At the same time, they also have high strength and stiffness to withstand external shocks and vibrations, enhancing the structural stability of the hull. In addition, composite wall panels have good corrosion resistance, which can resist the erosion of seawater and chemical substances and extend the service life of the hull.
The role of marine fire panels is particularly critical in the event of a fire. They need to be able to effectively stop the spread of flames, slow down the rate of fire spread, for the crew and passengers to fight for more escape time, while reducing the fire damage to the hull.
Main Typs
Marine Calcium Silicate Board: this is a kind of non-combustible board with fireproof and heat insulation and certain strength properties, specially used in marine engineering to provide good fireproof and heat insulation.
Class A1 fireproof glass-magnesium board: this is a kind of board with high fireproof performance, which is usually used in the fireproof and heat insulation needs of ships.
Inorganic fireproof boards: including magnesium glass fireproof boards and magnesium oxide fireproof boards, these boards have class A fireproof performance and are suitable for marine fireproof core boards, and have been certified by CCS to ensure their safe use on ships.
Marine TC fireproof board: this is a new type of building material decoration product, made of magnesium magnesium sulphate and magnesium oxide as gel material, medium alkali glass fibre mesh as reinforcing material, and inorganic lightweight material as filler composite. It has a high-strength HPL surface, wear-resistant and fire-resistant, and the comprehensive fire performance reaches Grade A. It is a green building material product.
