Marine Emergency Quick Closing Valve
Marine Emergency Quick Closing Valve is an important device installed on ships to control the flow of liquids, especially flammable liquid systems, such as fuel oil systems and lubricating oil systems. The main purpose is to be able to close the pipeline quickly in an emergency to prevent liquid leakage or the spread of fire.
Overview
Application
Main engine and auxiliary engine fuel system: used to shut off the fuel supply line to prevent fuel leakage.
Lubricating oil system: used to quickly isolate the lubricating oil pipeline to prevent the spread of fire.
Boiler oil supply system: for emergency shutdown of fuel oil supply in case of fire in boiler room.
Design and Construction
Marine emergency quick closing valves are usually made of high strength materials to ensure reliability and durability under high pressure and high temperature environments. Most valve body materials are stainless steel, cast iron or bronze, while internal parts such as spools and seals need to have good corrosion and wear resistance.
