Marine Electric Stainless Steel Capstan
A mooring capstan is a mooring and anchoring device in which the warping drum is mounted on a vertical or horizontal axis to rotate. The marine electric stainless steel capstan has compact structure, beautiful shape and single drum speed regulation. The variable speed of the electric motor allows the capstan to always run at a reasonable possible speed.
Overview
The marine electric stainless steel capstan is relatively expensive but has a long service life and it is suitable for ships that travel all year round in extremely severe marine environments. All the working parts except motor and reduction gear can be made of 316L stainless steel, and the surface could be as smooth as a mirror. It is quite convenient to dismount for maintaining or repairing since it is flange coupling between shafts of motor and gear box. Modifications can be made to suit your specific requirements.
