1. Nominal diameter of the same flowmeter: In general, for the nominal diameter of the same flowmeter, high and low pressure determination method is relatively simple. Can be observed through the readings of different pressures, when the pressure difference reaches a certain value of the readings as the flowmeter's standard readings, called “benchmark readings”. The flowmeter is installed in different locations for testing, when the readings reach the benchmark readings, you can determine the location of the position for the high and low pressure. 2.
2. Different types of flowmeter: different types of flowmeter installation location and high and low pressure determination methods are different. For example, the installation location of the multi-orifice plate flowmeter should be as close as possible to the valve or elbow, because the closer the installation point from the valve or elbow, the faster the flow rate, the more stable low-pressure region. And the installation position away from the valve or elbow too far, it will lead to unstable readings. For other types of flowmeters, judgment needs to be made on a case-by-case basis.
