How to Deal with the Valve Seal Connection Leakage
Leakage at the valve seal connection is a common problem in industrial systems and can lead to fluid leakage, system pressure drop and potential safety risks.
Overview
â–ºReason of Leakage:
1. Seal ring rolled over poorly;
2. Seal ring and body welding, poor quality of overlay welding;
3. Seal ring connection threads, screws, pressure ring loosening;
4. Seal ring connection and corrosion.
â–ºMaintenance Method:
1. Seal rolling at the leakage should be injected adhesive and then rolling fixed;
2. The sealing ring should be welded according to the welding specification. When the surfacing can not be welded, the original surfacing should be removed and processed;
3. Remove the screws, pressure ring cleaning, replacement of damaged parts, grinding sealing and connecting seat sealing surface, reassembly. Corrosion damage to the larger parts, available welding, bonding and other methods of repair;
4. Seal ring connection surface is corroded, available grinding, bonding and other methods of repair, can not be repaired when the seal should be replaced.
