GB Marine Valve
Marine valve GB standard: refers to the abbreviation of China's national standards, is an important standard for China's valve industry.
GB standard valve specifications mainly include nominal diameter and nominal pressure. Nominal diameter is usually expressed in DN; nominal pressure indicates that the valve can withstand the maximum pressure (MPa). The maximum pressure of the marine valve is 25MPa and the maximum diameter is 900mm.
The connection method of the valve is also an important specification parameter, mainly including flange connection, threaded connection and butt welding connection.

The size of marine valves mainly includes: DN15, DN20, DN25, DN32, DN40, DN50, DN65, DN80, DN100, DN125, DN150, DN200 and so on.
National standard marine valve pressure common specifications are: PN1.6MPa, PN2.5MPa, PN4.0MPa, PN6.4MPa, PN10MPa and so on.
The main materials of GB marine valves are: bronze, cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel and so on.

GB/T 12233-2006 “General Valves Iron Globe Valves and Lift Check Valves” provides specifications for general technical requirements and test methods for iron globe valves and lift check valves.
GB/T 12235-2007 “General Valves Flanged steel globe valves and lift check valves” provides a detailed description of flanged steel globe valves and lift check valves.
For globe valve made of cast iron, GB/T 590-2008 “Marine flanged cast iron globe valve” and GB/T 591-2008 “Marine flanged bronze globe check valve” formulated the relevant technical requirements to adapt to different environments and application needs.
GB/T 8464-2008 “iron and bronze threaded valves” and GB8465.2-87 “internal threaded gate valves, globe valves, ball valves, check valves, basic dimensions of iron globe valves,” the size of the threaded valves, materials and performance of a unified specification.
