Flange Type Limited Expansion Joint mainly realizes the expansion and contraction of pipeline through the expansion and deformation of the inner expansion element. When the pipeline is affected by temperature change or medium flow and expands or shortens, the inner expansion element of the expansion joint starts to shift and deform, thus absorbing and reducing the deformation of the pipeline. When the pipe returns to its original state, the inner expansion element of the expansion joint will also return to its original state.

Installation:
First of all, the preparation before installation should be sufficient. Check whether the model, specification and material of the rubber flange expansion joint meet the requirements, whether the appearance is intact, and replace it in time if there is any problem.
At the same time, clean the pipe connection port, and prepare the required tools and materials.
Next, the installation steps should be standardized. Insert the two ends of the rubber flange expansion joint into the pipe connection port, taking care not to overstretch or compress.
Then pass the bolts and gaskets through the flange holes and tighten the bolts with a wrench, paying attention to moderate strength.
Apply lubricant to reduce friction and wear, and check the quality of installation to ensure that the connection is tight, no leakage and no loosening.
In addition, the installation environment should be dry, clean and windless to avoid dust and impurities from entering the pipeline.
A pressure test should also be carried out after installation to confirm that there are no leaks, no looseness and other problems.
