Dredging Gate Valve
The dredging gate valve is a type of valve specifically designed for use in dredging operations. It is commonly used in the dredging industry to control the flow of water, slurry, or other materials in dredging pipelines. These valves are typically large and robust, with the ability to handle high-pressure and abrasive materials commonly found in dredging applications. The gate valve design allows for quick and easy operation, making them well-suited for use in dredging operations where frequent opening and closing is required.
Feature:
Driven by hydraulic, cylinder and sealed by rubber
Pressure up to 2.5Mpa
The diameter from 300mm to 1400mm.
Compact structure, light weight
Easy maintenance and inspection
Excellent performance, high resistance pressure
Stainless steel dredge gate and heat-affected valve body
It can be customized according to your needs.
Overview
The dredging gate valve is a vertical valve used to control the flow of sediment in suction and discharge pipes on a cutter suction dredger or trailing suction hopper dredger. It’s designed block and reduce the the flow of sand. The gate valve is equipped with a gate or blade that can be lifted or lowered to control the flow of materials.
