Combination Blind Flange

Combination blind flange is a sealing device for blocking the mouth of pipeline, it is a kind of flange without hole in the center, its design allows isolation or blocking without completely disassembling the pipeline.

Material

Combined blind flanges are available in a variety of materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, etc. The selection of these materials depends on the nature of the medium in the piping system and the working conditions.

Installation sequence

Prepare materials: prepare the flange blind plate, flange, gasket, bolt and nut, etc.

Clean surfaces: Clean the sealing surfaces of flanges and blind plates.

Place the gasket: Place the gasket on the sealing surface of the flange.

Install Blind Plate: Position the blind plate against the flange to ensure proper alignment.

Install bolts and nuts: Insert the bolts into the holes in the flange and blind plate, then install the nuts from the other side.

Tighten the bolts: tighten the bolts using the appropriate tools. Tightening should be done in a cross-symmetrical manner.

Check installation: After completing the installation, check that all bolts are tightened and that the blind is installed correctly.
