Overview
Chain grapnels is used to recover the anchor and chain that fell to the seabed. With the first eye of the grappling hook connected to the trawl rope, the tail eye can be connected to the towing rope, so as to retract the grappling hook when the anchor hook engages with an "immovable" object on the seabed. Grapnel designed a catching groove at the root of the fluke, which will stay anchor chain up to 4 inches.
