Ceiling Panel

Ceiling Panel

Ceiling Panel is the top decorative surface or interior structure in a room. It is usually located at the very top of the room and is used to cover the roof and top structure of the room. The ceiling plays a vital role in the overall design and decor of the room. Marine Ceiling Panels are usually made of mineral wool, rock wool, and aluminum honeycomb.

Overview

Type:

Mineral wool is based on natural mineral fibers, such as magnesite, silicate rock and other raw materials, processed through pyrolysis, twisting, washing and other processes, showing a dark color, hard feel of the fine rod-like structure. Mineral wool usually has a low thermal conductivity and stable performance, but problems such as the material's susceptibility to fracture and poor water absorption need to be addressed urgently.

Rock wool is mainly made of volcanic rock or kaolin plus mineral wool as raw materials, after high-temperature heating and a special process, showing a delicate, soft, silvery-white and off-white fiber-like structure. Rock wool has good sound insulation, heat insulation, fire performance and chemical stability, but the density is larger, for the requirements of lightweight projects have certain limitations

Aluminum honeycomb consists of a set of sandwich between two aluminum plates in honeycomb shape, with light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance, fire prevention, sound insulation, heat preservation and other characteristics. In the field of high-end construction, aluminum honeycomb is often used as building curtain wall, ceiling, wall panels and so on.
