Bolt Connection Type Zinc Anode for Ship Hull
Bolt connection type zinc anode is an anti-corrosion material commonly used to protect ship hulls from corrosion. It is usually made of zinc alloy and protects the hull from corrosion by bolting the anode to the surface of the hull, utilising the electrochemical properties of zinc. Bolt-on zinc anode can absorb oxygen and moisture in the surrounding environment and form an oxidised film, thus slowing down the corrosion rate of the hull and prolonging the service life of the hull.
Overview
Main Characteristics
Highly efficient corrosion protection: zinc anodes have a lower potential than structural metals such as steel, so they protect structural metals by giving them priority over corrosion.
Easy to install: The bolt-on design makes anode installation and replacement quick and easy.
Long Life: High quality zinc anodes provide continuous protection and reduce the frequency of replacement.
Multiple shapes and sizes: Can be customised to suit different applications.
