Introduction:

Asbestos rubber gaskets are made of asbestos fiber and rubber as the main raw materials, supplemented with rubber compound and filler, after mixing and stirring, hot roll forming, vulcanization and other processes.

Asbestos rubber gaskets can be divided into ordinary asbestos rubber gaskets and oil-resistant asbestos rubber gaskets according to their formulations, process performance and different uses.

According to the different temperature and pressure, they can be divided into low pressure asbestos rubber gaskets, medium pressure asbestos rubber gaskets and high pressure asbestos rubber gaskets.

Asbestos rubber gaskets are mainly used in the sealing of water, water vapor, oil, solvents, medium acids and alkalis, as well as in the sealing of medium and low pressure flange connections.

Application:

Low Pressure Asbestos Gasket (G2183): Low pressure asbestos gasket is made of a white chrysotile fiber, suitable for most low temperature and low pressure needs, mainly used for sealing of steam, hydraulic, gas, oil and non-aggressive media.

 Medium Pressure Asbestos Gasket (G2182): Mainly used for sealing of steam, hydraulics, gases, oils and non-aggressive media.

High Pressure Asbestos Gasket (G2181): Mainly used for sealing of steam, hydraulic, gas, oil and non-aggressive media.

Oil-Resistant Asbestos Gasket (G2184): Oil-resistant asbestos rubber gaskets are refined from high quality asbestos fibers, oil-resistant fibers, fillers, colorants, etc., which are widely used in pipelines and equipments in petroleum and chemical industries, and the models with corresponding grades can be selected according to the working conditions.

They are mainly used for sealing of steam, hydraulic, gas, oil solvents and non-aggressive media.

Maximum processing size of asbestos rubber gasket: ~1300mm; special specifications or all kinds of non-standard products can be made according to customers' requirements.
