Angle Type Marine Valve
Angle type marine valve control the flow of fluids, such as water, oil, or fuel, by opening or closing the passageway through which the fluid flows. They can also be used to regulate the flow rate by partially opening or closing the valve.
Overview
Materials:
Marine valves are often constructed from materials that are resistant to corrosion and erosion caused by seawater and other harsh marine environments. Common materials include bronze, brass, stainless steel, and certain types of plastics.
Applications:
Angle valves find application in various systems aboard ships, including those for freshwater, seawater, fuel oil, lubricating oil, and hydraulic fluid. They are used in pipelines, tanks, and other fluid handling systems to control the flow of liquids.
Pressure Rating:
Marine valves are designed to withstand specific pressure ratings to ensure safe operation under various conditions. The pressure rating of angle valves depends on factors such as the material of construction, size, and intended application.
