Angle Square Flange

Angle Square Flange

The main difference between angle flange and straight through flange is the form of their connection holes. Angle flange connection hole is right-angle shape, suitable for small angle connection. The straight-through flange connection hole is in the form of through-hole, which is suitable for mechanical equipment that requires straight-through connection.

Overview

Function:

1. Connecting Pipes: Flanges are one of the most common connectors used in connecting piping systems. They can connect pipes of different materials, diameters and types to enable them to transmit fluids or gases. Flanged connections are reliable and airtight, ensuring no leakage or loss of fluid or gas. Flanged connections can also be easily removed and replaced.

2. Connecting Valves and Pumps: Flanges connect valves and pumps to piping systems for the control and transfer of fluids or gases. Valves and pumps often have standardized interfaces for flange connections, allowing them to be easily connected and disconnected from the piping system. The reliability and tightness of flanged connections ensures proper valve and pump operation.

3. Supporting and securing equipment: Flanges can also be used to support and secure various types of equipment or machinery. For example, flanges can be used as a support connection for the table top of a machine bed, allowing it to support and hold the gravity and movement of the workpiece. In addition, flanges can be used to secure and support other industrial equipment, providing a stable and reliable structural connection.
