Performance requirements for marine capstans
According to the GB/T 4555-1995 standard, when producing marine capstan, its performance should meet the following requirements: The capstan must have the ability to operate continuously at the nominal speed for 30 minutes under the mooring load The mooring load shall not exceed 33% of the designed rope/cable breaking load. The capstan control braking device should be able to withstand 1.5 times the mooring load.
