Dry-type distribution transformer is suitable for environments with an altitude of less than 1000m and an ambient temperature of no more than 40℃, such as power transmission and transformation systems, hotels, restaurants, high-rise buildings, commercial centers, stadiums, petrochemical plants, subways, stations, airports, offshore drilling platforms, etc. It is especially suitable for load centers and places with special fire protection requirements.

Technical characteristics

  • The high-voltage winding is made of enameled copper wire, and the low-voltage winding is wound with copper foil. The high-voltage winding is filled with glass fiber felt and poured with epoxy resin in a vacuum state. After curing, it forms a solid whole with good mechanical strength, small partial discharge and high reliability.

  • Flame retardant, explosion-proof, and non-polluting environment, it can be installed at the load center.

  • The coil does not absorb moisture, and the core and clamps are specially processed to operate in 100% relative humidity and other harsh environments. Intermittent operation does not require dehumidification.

  • High level of resistance to short circuit and lightning strike.

  • The inner and outer resin insulation layers of the coil are thin and have good heat dissipation performance. The cooling method generally adopts natural air cooling (AN). For transformers of any protection level, an air cooling system (AF) can be configured.

  • Low loss, good power saving effect, economical operation, and maintenance-free.

  • Small size, light weight, small space occupation, and easy installation.
