The system includes the AIS (Automatic Identification System) for real-time vessel tracking. VHF and MF/HF radios or portable radio telephones enable ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore communication, and transceivers perform two-way communication. Receivers, such as radar and NAVTEX, enhance navigation and provide weather information. EPIRBs transmit distress signals during emergencies, ensuring swift rescue responses. SARTs aid in locating vessels in distress. These devices form a comprehensive network, ensuring maritime safety, navigation, and effective emergency communication.
