Overview

JIS stockless anchor is a type of stockless anchor with two flukes, it have no cross bars, its two flukes can grip into the seabed in one time, please check its applicable scenarios as follows:

1. Wide adaptability to seabed

Two flukes can enter the seabed at the same time, with a grip to weight ratio of up to 2.5-4. It has good grip on various seabed such as mud, sand, and gravel, and is particularly suitable for ports and water areas with variable seabed conditions.

2. Daily mooring of commercial and leisure vessels

Due to its convenient operation and small storage space, it is often selected as the main anchor or backup anchor for merchant ships and fishing boats, especially suitable for ships that require frequent entry and exit and short-term berthing.

3. Ships with limited space and need quick mooring

Have no cross bars, so it is easier to store.

4. Mooring under moderate meteorological conditions

Strong grip, good stability, and can withstand conventional wind, waves, and currents; But in extreme conditions or open deep waters, it is still necessary to use other high holding power anchor.

5. Temporary assignments and auxiliary positioning

Some engineering ships and fishery survey ships will use it as an auxiliary positioning anchor for short cycle, low-intensity offshore operations, balancing cost and operational efficiency.

The JIS stockless anchor is suitable for commercial ships, fishing boats, and recreational boats with small and medium-sized tonnage, frequent mooring, limited storage space, and variable seabed conditions. It is the main anchor type that balances economy and versatility.
