What is Marine Air Vent Head?
Overview
Working Principle
The air vent head is used to ensure that the liquid tank (such as fresh water, fuel, lubricating oil, etc.) can breathe normally during injection and discharge, that is, to allow the air in the tank to enter and exit freely to balance the internal and external pressure, and to avoid damage to the tank structure due to over pressure or negative pressure.
By inhaling and breathing, the air pressure in the tank is close to atmospheric pressure, so that its pressure is kept within the design pressure of the tank, and in addition, it can prevent seawater, rain, and Mars from entering the tank.
Main Structure
Air vent head comprises a shell, a sealing seat, a stainless steel float and a stainless steel guide bolt, the shell is composed of an outer shell and an inner shell with a stainless steel welded structure, the outer shell is welded by a shell top plate, a shell side plate and a shell bottom plate, the inner shell is welded by an inner shell top plate, an inner shell side plate and an inner shell bottom plate, and the outer shell and the inner shell are welded by slats. The outer shell and flange are welded through the nozzle.
