Dock Bollards and Ship Bollards serve similar functions in maritime operations but are typically found in different locations and serve slightly different purposes.

Dock Bollard:

Installation location and base:Dock bollards are fixed structures installed along the edge of a dock or pier.The base includes semicircular base, square base, round base, etc.

Material:Dock bollards are usually made of cast steel, cast iron, ductile iron materials and are firmly fixed in the dock structure.

Shape:Dock bollard have many shapes ,such as T Head Dock Bollard,Dock Inclined Double Bitts Bollard ,Stag Horn Type Bollard,K Head Dock Bollard,etc.

Ship Bollard:

Installation location and base:Ship bollards are often located on the deck or along the sides of the ship,The base usual is Rectangular base.

Material:weldable steel plates or steel tubes.

Shape:ship bollard usually only have  Marine Double Bollard and Marine Single Cross Bollard .

Standards: ship bollards all have standards, such as CBT3845-2013 ISO 13795-2012 JIS F2001-1995 etc.
