Marine Mooring Winch For Passenger Vessel
Marine passenger ship winch is a winch used for mooring, towing, and lifting on passenger ships. According to the SOLAS Convention, ships carrying more than 12 passengers are called passenger ships, which have better floatability, high speed, and stabilizing devices. Passenger ships are used to transport passengers and their baggage. The marine passenger ship winch can be equipped with automatic tension control, which adjusts the tension of the cables and chains to maintain stability of ships during docking and mooring. Overview
The marine passenger ship winch has to be operated smoothly and safely in order to ensure the security of passengers and crews. It is usually made of cast steel, 316 stainless steel and aluminum. Brakes are also needed. There is a brake for the winch and every drum or working part should be fitted with a brake and clutch to ensure that they can work independently. The band brake is common, as well as the disc belt. Brakes can be hydraulically or manually controlled. Emergency stop device is also indispensable.
