Marine Electric Stainless Steel Anchor Windlass
An electric stainless steel anchor windlass is a crucial component for ships and boats to lifting and lowering anchors. It consists of an electric motor, gearbox, sprocket, clutch, brake, control system etc. Made of the 316L stainless steel, the anchor windlass can withstand the seawater and extreme temperature. It also has less wear. The durability and resistance to corrosion makes it a popular choice for windlass.
1. Power source: electric motor
2. Made of the stainless steel, such as SS304, SS316, SS316L, etc.
3. Overload protection, emergency stop buttons
4. Locol control or remoted control
5. Manual or hydraulic operated brake and clutch
Overview
The electric stainless steel anchor windlass is a deck machine used to lift and lower anchors on ships powered by the electric motor. Its main working unit is made of stainless steel, which can withstand corrosion, heat, extreme coldness, and other severe factors. The anchor windlass is designed and manufactured in accordance with strict marine standards and is equipped with overload protection devices, reliable brake systems and clutches to ensure safe and stable operation during anchoring and anchoring. The anchor windlass can be customized according to the type, tonnage and usage requirements of different ships, such as choosing single or double sprockets, different drum configurations, etc., and the winding drum can be installed or removed according to actual needs.
Working principle
Lift anchor: When it is necessary to lift anchor, operate the clutch to engage it with the sprocket, and at the same time release the belt brake mechanism. The motor drives the cable shaft to rotate through the two-stage reduction of the worm-worm wheel and the gear, and the cable shaft then drives the sprocket to rotate, retracting the anchor chain and making the anchor leave the seabed.
Drop anchor: separate the clutch from the sprocket, release the belt brake mechanism, and use the anchor's own weight to throw it. The anchor chain is lowered under the action of gravity until the anchor reaches the seabed and is fixed.
