Marine Electric Single Drum Mooring Winch
Marine electric single drum mooring winch is widely used on passenger ship, oil tanker, container ship and other working ships for mooring. The winch for oil tanker should be explosion proof and is equipped with explosion-proof electric motor. The motor of the electric single drum mooring winch drives the drum through the reducer, and a brake is installed between the motor and the input shaft of the reducer. The winch can meet the needs of lifting, pulling and mooring operations.
Overview
The operating mechanism for brakes and clutches is designed for easy and safe manual operation. It may also be remotely operated by hydraulic cylinders. The winch design provides easy access to lubricating and inspecting comprehensively.
The electric mooring winch must be equipped with an automatic control brake device, when the control handle or handwheel moves to the stop or brake position or the winch is not powered, the control brake device should automatically brake, the brake device must be able to withstand 1.5 times the drum load, and can stop the drum rotation at the maximum speed without malfunction.
