Marine Electric Mooring Winch
Electric mooring winch is a marine equipment that uses a drum to wrap cable, ropes or chains to moor a ship , and it can also lift or pull heavy objects. Electric mooring winch is widely used in places with heavy work and large traction required. In order to meet the needs of lifting, hauling and turning operations, there are also double and multi-drum winch.
Overview
The electric mooring winch has the function of retracting, holding and storing the rope on the drum. When operating at the corresponding nominal speed, the drum load should not be greater than 80% of the designed breaking load of ropes. The drum of the winch is driven by the motor after deceleration through the gearbox, and it occupies a relatively large area of the deck. The electric mooring winch is also effective when the ship is moored or docked, and has many functions such as drifting, supporting and positioning during loading and unloading, while compensating for vibration deviations with constant tension adjustment. Its drum can be arranged as parallel or anteroposterior.
