Manila Rope
Overview
Manila rope is a natural fiber rope made from the fibers of the abaca plant, a banana plant native to the Philippines. It is known for its strength, durability, resistance to sunlight and abrasion. But manila rope absorbs water, which affects its strength and performance in wet conditions. Therefore, correct use and maintenance are very necessary.
Because the rope is made of natural manila fiber braiding, it is wear-resistant, tensile-resistant, heat-resistant and flame-retardant, has a strong tail buckle, extremely low elongation, and does not generate static electricity. Therefore, it is often used on chemical and oil and gas carriers.
Certifications: ABS, CCS, ISO, NK, BV, LR, RS, etc.
Applications: Hazardous goods, chemicals, oil and gas carriers and other scenes with high environmental requirements.
